Safety Operations Procedures for Weather-Related Conditions
Pirates’ Cove Water Park’s #1 priority is guest safety. Industry standards require we adhere to the following safety procedures:
Lightning strikes within a 20-mile radius require the closure of our large tower slides
Lightning strikes within a 10-mile radius require the closure of the entire park & guests must take shelter
From time to time, the weather will prevent the park from opening at the beginning of the day or cause us to close early at the end of the day. We advise that you refer to a weather app to determine the weather for the day of your visit, as we do not issue refunds due to weather-related conditions.

- Coolers will be searched before entry and items which are not allowed must be returned to the guest’s vehicle.
- Coolers must be no larger than 48 quarts,
- May not contain glass, alcohol, or sharp knives
- Everything must fit inside. Coolers must close properly (not spewing over),
- We kindly request no cooked, prepared, restaurant or catered food enter the park.
- Pizza delivery, restaurant or fast food, and homemade large dinners are prohibited.

FAMILY CABANA RENTALS (During Business Hours)
Family cabanas may be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis, the day before by booking online.

PLEASE NOTE: Phone calls/emails are not accepted for cabana reservations. Please be ready to present proof of reservation at the admission gate. All cabana reservations are based on availability.
Unreserved cabanas will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of your visit to Pirates’ Cove.

Rental Terms are as follows:
- Payment is required at the time of reservation.
- Family cabana rentals are non-refundable.
- Reservations may only be booked in advance, one day before your visit online only.
- Any unreserved cabanas will be rented on a first-come-first-served basis, on the day of your visit during business hours.
