Long-term guests are invited to “Show Your Spirit” for Halloween and join in our site decorating contest.
Great prizes will be awarded to the sites judged to be the best decorated.
- First Place receives free rent for January 2023
- Second Place received 50% off rent for January 2023
- Third Place receives 25% off rent for January 2023
Judging
- Judging criteria are based on the quality of construction, creativity, design, and attention to theme.
- Judging will take place throughout the entire month.
- Winners will be announced Tuesday, January 3, 2023
Rules
- Guests must register their entry at the Marketing Office by Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 5:00 pm. The Marketing Office is the bottom office located under the largest tower slide at Pirates’ Cove with a red door facing the bow of the pirate ship.
- Sites must be decorated by Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 5:00 pm to be considered for the contest.
- Sites must remain decorated through January 2nd 2022 to be eligible for the prizes.
Let’s keep it family-friendly – entries may not include:
- profanity, nudity, violence, Illegal drug or alcohol use, crude/vulgar/offensive pictures, depictions, images, language, and/or symbols or material deemed inappropriate or offensive to the judges
- false or defamatory statements about any person or third party
- obscene or sexually explicit scenes
- gang signs or symbols
- no paint is allowed on the trees or grass.
- no toilet paper on or in the trees
- commercial products (e.g., clothing, toys, food) and/or their trademarks, brands, logos, or endorsements
- license plates, phone numbers, personal addresses (physical or email or otherwise)
- website or web page links
- derogatory characterizations of any ethnic, racial, sexual, or religious groups, the humiliation of other people (publicly or otherwise),
- any assault or threatening of others
- trespass or the violation of other guest’s
- illegal (e.g., discriminatory, harassing) or inappropriate activity, behavior, or conduct (e.g., inflicting emotional distress)
- Fireworks, sky lanterns, candle balloons, bonfires, or pit fires
- items that pose a danger to surrounding guests.
- Dead or live animals of any kind
Items deemed inappropriate will be removed or confiscated and may not be returned.
